Our to communicate and do jobs for others.

Our goal is to make the world a better place by making human-like robots that will work to make life on Earth for the less fortunate and disabled easier. For the disabled if they are deaf, there could be a robot to let them know what the others are saying in sign language and be their ears. This robot is a Japanese robot that can communicate with the deaf using sign language. Today in our world we are filled with new automated machines that can help everyone especially the ones who need it. The robot has a built in communication system, its built in its ears so it can hear what the other person says and it translates it in sign language. These robots are extraordinary and help many lives out there who can’t communicate with others. This would generally help everyone and make life more worth living.A Present Technology-In this point of history, Toshiba’s robot can communicate with sign language. This robot’s name is Aiko Chihira. This robot can help people with sign language or if they need special help. Aiko is a robot who is a human like figure that communicate with deaf people by using sign languages. Aiko can also speak Japanese. This Robot begin in a store, greeting customers in Japan by sign language and by talking, but little did they know that robot could help people. Aiko can use sign language to greet the customers. Chihira was made by collaboration between Osaka University, which develops humanoid robots. The robot does all the features any human can do, it can blink, talk and so much more features. Aiko has 43 joints that allow her to move her arms to communicate and do jobs for others. This robot can speak 3 different languages, Japanese, Chinese, English and Sign Language. Even though the bot, only knows a couple of greetings it can still communicate. One difference between the robot and humans is that the average human has 360 joints. I guess the robot cannot be exactly like a human, but that’s what we are trying to change. The problem is there isn’t much technology we can use to create more robots, like Aiko. With all of the people unable to hear there isn’t a robot we can give to all of them. There is only one creation of the Toshiba’s robot, but there isn’t much to go around. Even though this robot has many features it can’t communicate that well. If a person asked for an apple would the robot be able to understand? It can only do so much, but it can’t communicate that strong. If we could get the chance to upgrade the positronic brain to speak all kinds of languages, and designed to help others in need. The goal is to intHistory-The history that robots hold a special place in Japanese culture is well established in popular discourse and receiving increasing scholarly and critical attention. In the 1980s, Japan was named the Robot Kingdom to mark its global leadership in industrial robotics and a unique propensity to accept robotic companions and their partners. Today Japan is referred to as a place where people are loving the machine and robots are priceless friends.  People in Japan have been creating robots over years, they were one of the first countries to make an accomplished robot that many people were admired by. Robots in the past were made to entertain people and make the future come alive.  One of the most famous robots that stood out to Japan was the ASIMO, it wasnt born a long time ago but it was actually born during Oct.31.  ASIMO, is a  51 inch (130 cm) humanoid robot created at Honda’s Research & Development Center in Japan. ASIMO can walk or run at speeds of up to 3.7 MPH (6 km/h). The robot can also detect the movements of multiple objects which was pretty cool at the time. ASIMO can also run, walk on uneven slopes or surfaces. It can turn smoothly and even climb stairs, and reach for objects. What made ASIMO surprise people was that it could respond to people with simple commands. It’s technology was so advanced at the time that it could recognize people using its cameras eye. It can also avoid any moving obstacles. ASIMO has changed the past into basically the future. Back in the days there really weren’t any robots that could speak sign language or help people with any special needs. Though robots back in the days in Japan were kind of like an exhibition. It was to show people how the world is advancing and how their robots were going to change the history of the world. Robots in the past in Japan were mainly toys the kids could play around with. They weren’t  really advanced just toys that could talk and if you pull a string they could walk for at least a minute. Than one day a group of men decided to team up and make this average little kids toy a big one. The robot that they first created was just a miniature one but it could do so much more than the toys. This robot could walk for longer than a minute and do many other advanced things. Robots like this, is what changed the history into the future. When the Toshiba robot was made that was when history was changed. Unlike the robots in the past Toshiba could communicate through sign language and do many human gestures that robots in the past couldn’t do. Robots in the past didn’t have human like forms. Many robots in Japan were just small robots that just talked and ran, or walked. There was nothing really special about them, even though at the time it was pretty impressive that humans could actually invent robots. In the past ever since robots were invented it had such a huge meaning to people. People thought that know there were robots they could do many things to help other people which need help.
