Meet the Parents came out in the year 2000 and starred by Ben Stiller as Greg Focker, Terri Polo as Pam Byrnes, and Robert De Niro as Pam’s dad Jack. I watched this movie and was pleased with the film. It is about what happens when a man is presented to his girlfriend’s family for the first time. In a nutshell, the boyfriend never expect that he will end up getting himself in lots of trouble. Greg Focker, a male-nurse, was ready and trying to propose his girlfriend Pam during one weekend at her parent’s home. However, things were not that way easy. Pam’s strict father and ex-CIA member expects to be asked for his daughter’s hand in marriage before she accepts any proposal. Jack immediately dislikes Greg. Though Greg was trying to do anything and everything possible to please and befriend with Jack, he ends up annoying him as he lost Jack’s cat, gave Pam’s sister black eye, and lit the garden on fire. This movie is per-fused with astonishing actors who make the movie one of the best. First, Roberto De Niro is quite comic and gives a fabled presentation in this movie. Ben Stiller is another awe-some actor. Lastly Owen Wilson, although he is plying less role, is also good and make you laugh throughout the film. This movie’s casting is also ideal. Ben Stiller won pair of fire proofed blue jeans and grey hoodie in some scenes and looked messy, but it matched with the specific moments that Stiller used them. He worn them when he was trying to sneak a cigarette on the roof of his girlfriend’s house, and he ended up setting fire on the wedding altar. He faces painful difficulties. On top of that, you wish helping him out, though you cannot, and you will be excitingly wait to see what will happen next. Finally, The movie won several awards in the year 2001 from American Comedy awards, MTV movie awards, and People’s Choice Awards. Overall, “Meet the Parents” is an exiting film full of laugh, and well-worth a few hours of your time.
